Michael Gonzales
Michael’s background in software solutions technology and live performance provides valuable insight into creating mobile experiences for entertainment, nonprofit, educational, religious, and community organizations.
He is also a professional acoustic-pop musician and vocalist who continues developing his musicianship under a Grammy-nominated educator and a Recording Academy member. Michael performs the vocals and guitar for the professional rendition of “Leaving on a Jet Plane.”
His family includes Grammy-nominated Texas accordionist Santiago Jiménez Jr. and five-time Grammy winner Flaco Jiménez.
Michael’s family’s longstanding impact on Dallas is reflected in two local schools named in their honor: Adelfa B. Callejo Elementary School and Felix G. Elementary School. These recognitions represent a multigenerational legacy of service, education, the arts, and community leadership.
